Dave Gomez, Director of Operations for Bella Energy, recently passed the NABCEP, National American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners certification exam, which is the highest certification for Solar Electric industry professionals. Dave joins Ken Olson another member of the Bella Energy team that is also a NABCEP certified photovoltaic installer. Both Dave and Ken are also Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association certified installers. Dave designs and installs photovoltaic systems for residential customers. Dave has been with Bella Energy, a Lafayette-based company that designs and installs photovoltaic systems for residents and businesses since 2005.

Colorado Connections: Dave moved to Colorado to climb, and has climbed some of the hardest 14ers in Colorado. He is an avid cyclist, riding his bike from Boulder to Longs Peak Trailhead and back in a day…after hiking up Longs Peak. Dave once went four years without owning a car, riding the bus and his bike. During this time, Dave logged 16,000 miles on his bike.
