Senior Manager, Installations

Colin Wann, having started as temporary help in February, 2008 on a job for Boulder Housing Partners now serves as a Senior Manager for Installations with Bella Energy. New to solar energy, Colin’s previous passions and interests led him to various careers with outdoor, environmental and adventure education programs. These included working with Outward Bound and at Prescott College, in settings that ranged from remote wilderness to inner city classrooms. Being able to work with people has always been a strength of Colin’s, a trait that lends well to his management position. Renewable energy has become a big part of his life, fueling his passions to help make change in the world. His parents have always served as great role models in this way, with his dad (Dave Wann) authoring multiple books on Environmental and Community Design, and his Mother (Julie Bishop) a retired teacher of 20 years in Alternative Education.

Colorado Connections: Colin is a proud born and raised Coloradan, having spent his formative years in the foothills above the famous Red Rocks Amphitheater exploring the open spaces surrounding his home town of Indian Hills. After moving away from Colorado for 10 years to go to school and pursue teaching in Arizona, he returned to the Front Range and currently lives in Eldorado Springs Canyon where the world class rock climbing keeps a big smile on his face.
