Justin Amason
Growing up amongst the lakes, woods and cornfields of Southern Illinois fostered in Justin a healthy appreciation and adoration for the great outdoors. He completed a four-year stint under the track and field regime at the University of Kentucky, earning himself degrees in Analytic Philosophy, Interpersonal Psychology, and Sociology. This knowledge in turn qualified him for such positions as high school substitute teacher (required by the Amason family of teachers as tribute), construction lackey, dock boy (Lake of the Woods, Minnesota), sonar lake map maker, solar intern (Hopland, California), and Alaskan bear swatter. The right time and the right doorstep landed Justin with Bella in 2007, making this special union the first company group of like-minded people to elicit a year-long commitment from this wanderer.
Colorado Connections: Thanks to a great website and a Fort Collins base, Justin was able to settle in very quickly, renting from his uncle for the family discount in downtown Fort Collins. His aunt and uncle are CSU alums and avid athletic supporters. Their three children attended CSU and currently reside on the Front Range. Fortunately, there is no shortage of bike and ski equipment within the family, so there is never a shortage of fun in the sun in sunny Colorado, Justin’s new home.
