Twenty-five years ago, Diane sold solar systems in New Mexico to put herself through college. She also designed, built and lived in a passive solar home in Santa Fe in the early 1990s, living “almost” off the grid. After a 20-year career in the software industry, Diane co-founded and is Executive Director of ConservEd ,a non-profit environmental education organization which promotes sustainable living through conservation, energy efficiency and renewable energy. ConservEd provides Eco-Audits. ConservEd provides Eco-Audits and community programs such as the Green Heart Community Initiatives, small towns and congregations. She is a sought-after speaker and sustainability and energy conservation consultant. She was also recently selected to be trained by Al Gore to provide his Climate Project presentation from the movie "An Inconvenient Truth." She continues to work with organizations that provide climate change education and energy saving programs to communities, businesses, and faith organizations.

Colorado Connections: The seeds were sown for Diane’s “Colorado Connection” in 1981, when Diane was visiting a friend in Boulder. She knew she would someday live here. In 2003, Diane decided it was time to fulfill her life-long goal of living in Colorado. She lives in Lyons.
