Before graduating from Middlebury College, Alison studied solar electricity for her undergraduate physics thesis which inspired her to pursue a career in the solar industry. She moved to Carbondale, Colorado to intern for and take classes from Solar Energy International. She also spent some time at Sol Energy gaining some hands-on experience.

Colorado Connections: Alison has lived in Colorado since October of 2007 and loves the opportunities for outdoor recreation and all of the beautiful scenery.
